Ruby is soft-spoken, but has a fierce curiosity about the world and a wholesome, welcoming spirit. When we talked to Ruby, she was getting ready to welcome a foreign exchange student into her life—a 13-year old girl from South Korea that her family would take in for the summer. 

Ruby had plans to teach that new friend all about Wisconsin, and to learn about other parts of the world in return. Seems like a pretty fair trade.
